Hire Azure Developers
Most organisations reach Azure through Microsoft software they already run. The directory is Entra ID, the applications are .NET, the databases are SQL Server. That makes the first move straightforward and the later ones less so, because identity, licensing and networking are tied together in ways that do not show until something is denied access.
Our Azure engineers work in your subscription under roles you assign, keep templates and pipelines in your repository, and answer to you. Employment, equipment and cover are handled by us.

Azure responsibilities you can hand over
Azure work tends to arrive under one of six headings. A mixture is common, especially during a migration.
.NET and SQL Server migrations
Moving web applications to App Service or containers, and databases to Azure SQL or SQL Managed Instance. We run the compatibility assessment first, list what will not carry over, and rehearse the cutover on a copy.
Bicep and Terraform
Replacing portal clicks and old ARM JSON with Bicep or Terraform modules. Each change is previewed with what-if or plan, reviewed, and applied by a pipeline instead of from a laptop.
Identity and secrets
Managed identities in place of connection strings with passwords, role assignments scoped to the resource group, secrets and certificates in Key Vault, and app registrations that somebody actually owns and renews.
Containers and functions
Choosing between App Service, Container Apps, AKS and Azure Functions for each workload, then configuring scaling, health probes and networking so the choice holds up under load.
Pipelines and releases
Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions signed in through workload identity federation, with no stored client secrets. Deployment slots are warmed and swapped, so a release can be reversed in seconds.
Cost and monitoring
Budgets and alerts in Cost Management, reservations where usage is predictable, and a check on Log Analytics ingestion, which is a frequent surprise on the invoice. Application Insights is set up to show failures, not only traffic.
Azure services in daily use
Microsoft renames things often. These are the current names of the services an Azure engineer works with most.

Levels of Azure engineer, by responsibility
The more of your subscription a person can change, the more judgement they need. Decide the access first and the level follows.
Junior
Writes Bicep for standard resources, maintains pipeline definitions, builds dashboards and alert rules. Works in development subscriptions with changes approved by others.
Choose when: a platform owner on your side reviews deployments and holds the production roles.
Mid-level
Operates production: releases, scaling, backup checks, certificate renewal, cost reporting. Follows an incident through to a written cause and a fix.
Choose when: your environment is in reasonable shape and needs reliable running and gradual improvement.
Senior
Designs management groups, subscriptions, networks and the role model. Leads migrations and recovery planning, and explains licensing and cost consequences before they arrive.
Choose when: you are entering Azure, merging tenants, or handling data with regulatory conditions.
Beginning work in your Azure subscription
Set out the environment
Tell us which workloads run in Azure, how they are deployed today, where identity is managed and what needs attention. Reader access to the subscription helps us reply with specifics.
Interview one engineer
A single named engineer is proposed and you talk with them directly. If the match is not right, another is offered.
A scoped first task
For example one application moved to a pipeline, one resource group expressed in Bicep, or a cost review. Roles are granted for that scope only.
Regular working rhythm
Changes go through pull requests in your repository and items are tracked in your board. We report weekly on what changed and what is at risk, and invoice once per month.
Azure engineer rates
Our rates are published. Pick the role and move the sliders for an indicative budget.
Rate card
| Role | Hourly | Monthly* |
|---|---|---|
| Frontend / WordPress | $30 | $4,800 |
| Backend / API | $32 | $5,120 |
| Full-stack | $35 | $5,600 |
| Mobile (React Native / Flutter) | $35 | $5,600 |
| DevOps / Cloud | $40 | $6,400 |
| AI / Automation engineer | $45 | $7,200 |
| QA / Test engineer | $25 | $4,000 |
| UI / UX design | $28 | $4,480 |
*160 hrs/month full-time. Rates are indicative for planning, in USD (other currencies are converted at an indicative rate), and depend on seniority, contract length and timezone overlap. Longer engagements and multi-role teams are discounted — ask.
Does your Azure work suit this model?
We are a good choice when
- Your applications run on Azure and the platform has no clear owner.
- You are moving .NET systems out of a server room and want it done in stages.
- You want every change to the subscription reviewed and traceable.
- You are a software firm that needs Azure skills alongside your developers.
Look elsewhere when
- You need a quick answer to one configuration question.
- Your tenant policy does not permit guest accounts or external engineers.
- You need round-the-clock incident response from a single person.
- You are looking for Microsoft licence resale; we do not sell licences.
Azure questions from prospective clients
How is access to our subscription granted?
The engineer is invited to your Entra tenant as a guest, or given an account you create, with multi-factor sign-in. Roles are assigned at resource group level where possible, and can be made time-limited through Privileged Identity Management if you license it.
Bicep or Terraform?
Bicep if you are on Azure alone: it is maintained by Microsoft, keeps no state file and supports new resource types promptly. Terraform if you also manage other clouds or services with it. We do not convert a working codebase from one to the other without a good reason.
App Service, Container Apps or AKS?
App Service for conventional web applications. Container Apps for containerised services that should scale on demand, including to zero. AKS when you need the full Kubernetes API and have people to run it. We recommend the simplest one that meets the requirement.
Can we reuse our SQL Server and Windows Server licences?
Possibly. Azure Hybrid Benefit lowers the price of certain services for licences covered by Software Assurance or a qualifying subscription. We show where it would apply; your licensing provider confirms what you are entitled to.
Will the engineer be available in our hours?
Work follows India time. Gulf, European and Australian office hours overlap with it without special arrangement. For American time zones we agree a set window each day and work asynchronously otherwise.
What if the engineer leaves?
We propose a replacement for your approval. Templates, pipelines and documentation are in your repository, so the next engineer has a full record, and you remove the previous account from your tenant.
Tell us about the Azure environment
Name the main workloads, say how they are deployed at present, and describe the change you want. We reply within one business day.
