Cookie Policy

This page lists what pwtech.pw stores in your browser and which third parties load with our pages. Everything below was checked on the live site in September 2026.

What we set

No cookie is set when you view a page — we checked the home, contact and about pages as an ordinary visitor, through Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site. There is no Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no Meta pixel and no behavioural tracker on any of the 150 published pages. What the site keeps in your browser is limited to things you chose to do:

  • Chat assistant. Before your first question the assistant asks for an email address or mobile number. What you enter — or a note that you skipped — is kept in your browser’s local storage under pwchat_contact_v1, so it does not ask again. Your questions are not stored in your browser. Clearing this site’s data removes it.
  • Desktop Mode. If you open Desktop Mode and pick a workspace theme, the theme’s name is kept in local storage under pwtech-os-theme, so it opens the same way next time.
  • Forms. Submitting a form may set a short-lived cookie so that the submission can be processed.
  • Logged-in editors only. Standard WordPress authentication cookies, set only for staff who sign in to the admin area.

Third parties that load with our pages

  • Google reCAPTCHA protects our forms from automated abuse. 118 of our 150 published pages carry a form, and on those pages reCAPTCHA loads with the page itself — not only when you use the form. It can set Google’s own cookies and collects device and interaction data, under Google’s privacy policy.
  • Cloudinary serves images and video. It receives the request needed to deliver each file and sets no cookie — we checked.

Selecting the WhatsApp button hands you to WhatsApp, which then applies its own cookies and terms.

Controlling them

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data, usually under Privacy or Site settings. Blocking third-party scripts will stop the enquiry forms from working, and blocking local storage means the chat assistant asks for your contact detail on each visit; the rest of the site reads normally. There is no consent banner on this site: neither our server nor Cloudflare sets a cookie when you view a page, and reCAPTCHA, described above, is the one third party that can. If we add any other cookie or tracker, this page changes first.
