Are you located in Cyprus and want to try Linux, the free open-source Operating System (OS), but don’t have the knowledge required to install and configure it on your system? We can help with our Linux installation service. This service should not be confused with our Linux server installation service. We will make sure your system is compatible with Linux, perform a full system backup, format your drive and install a Linux distribution of your choice, alongside a Graphical User Interface (GUI) which you like best. If you are new to the Linux world, we recommend installing Debian Linux with the XFCE GUI environment. We operate a local Debian mirror in Cyprus, for the fastest Debian Linux installation in Cyprus. For the office productivity suite, we will install LibreOffice, which includes document,spreadsheet, presentation and database processors. Don’t worry, we will also install software necessary to perform common computer tasks, such as an email reader and a browser. Yes even a calculator program. If you have the necessary knowledge and want a different software installed, we will also install it, as long as it is available in your favourite distribution’s package manager. Due to the nature of the various Linux distributions, we cannot fully support and train you to use the distribution of your choice. We will however help you get started, with simple instructions to get things done on your computer.
